A chapter is an extension of the IIMB Alumni Association. A city can have only one chapter and the minimum quorum to open a chapter is 50 members. A chapter offers opportunities for continued friendship with fellow alumni and continued engagement with the Alumni association. The chapter will have a President, a Secretary, Treasurer and up to 3 executive members (all alumni of IIMB) that can help the chapter perform its tasks.
Role of the alumni chapters
* Provide opportunities for alumni to socialise with each other
* Coordinate local alumni activities and events
* Provide networking opportunities for alumni
* Promote membership of the IIMB Alumni Association
* Serve as an official local contact for the Office of Alumni Association and the institute
* Publish an annual report to the IIMB AA
